Happiest Greetings on Earth, Yoanna! I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney and thank you for sending us this question.
It sounds like you're gearing up for a magical vacation to Disneyland Resort soon! The countdown is on! I'm happy to share a couple of recommendations for maximizing your time in the theme parks, especially if you wish to visit both theme parks on the same day. In this case, you will need to purchase a
Park Hopper ticket and
make a theme park reservation for the park in which you will start your day. Then, during the
eligible Park Hopper hours, you will be able to cross over between both theme parks to enjoy the attractions, dining, entertainment, and other offerings! At this time, Guests do not need to make a reservation for the second park, but access to the second park is subject to capacity. You can find out some more information about the
Park Hopper ticket and how to use it on the official Disneyland Resort webpage!
I hope this is a helpful start, Yoanna. I also want to share this
planDisney podcast episode which highlights some wonderful advice for Guests who might be visiting Disneyland Resort for the first time (or for the first time in a while!) I think you might find it helpful to learn more about how to optimize your time around the theme parks, the Downtown Disney District, and the resort hotels! In the meantime, please don't hesitate to come back to
planDisney with any questions we can help clarify as you continue making preparations for your visit. We'd love to see you again soon!
Magically yours,
Tishra
