We are coming to Disneyland next month. I bought the Genie+. Is it the same thing as the Lightning pass? If not, what is the difference? Thanks!

Greetings, Lynda! Thanks for stopping by planDisney.

Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is just one month away. How very exciting! And it sounds like you've planned and prepped and are ready for some fun. Let's make some magic! Adding Genie+ to your ticket was a great choice. It helps me manage and maximize my time while at the parks. Great news, Lynda - only the name of the service has been changed. As of July 24, Genie+ is now Lighting Lane Multi Pass.

Nothing about the service has changed at the Disneyland Resort. With Lighting Lane Multi Pass, Guests may select a return time for eligible attractions one time per day. You can also cancel and modify selections in the Disneyland Mobile App. If you would like to ride one of the participating attractions more than once, you'll need to use the standby time for subsequent rides. Please remember that a valid theme park ticket and park reservation are required for entry.

Lynda, did you also know that you unlock phenomenal cosmic power with Lighting Lane Multi Pass? As an additional perk of this add-on service, you receive unlimited downloads of photos taken by the Disney Photo Pass Photographers. It is an awesome way to bring home frame-worthy photos!

I hope this information clears things up, and that you have a wonderful Disneyland visit. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I am happy to help!

You ain't never had a friend like me!
