Hello, Virginia!
Thanks for stopping by with a question for us today. I'm happy to help!
Virtual Queues are currently in place for
Tiana's Bayou Adventure and
TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise, both at Magic Kingdom Park. I haven't had a chance to go down the bayou myself just yet, but I've experienced TRON Lightcycle / Run via the Virtual Queue on many past visits and it's always a thrill to enter the grid!
Once you successfully join the
Virtual Queue, either at 7 a.m. or at 1 p.m. from inside the park, you'll be assigned a boarding group number. These groups typically have a 1-hour return window for guests to experience the attraction, but the timing can be a little hard to predict based on crowd levels and unforeseen attraction downtimes. We experienced this with TRON Lightcycle / Run last year, and our boarding group was called as we were in the middle of a Table Service meal in another part of the park. We were advised to bring our meal receipt to the attraction and let the Cast Members know why we had missed our assigned time. We did as instructed and were able to ride without any further delay.
I'm not sure if the same will be permitted in every instance, but I recommend stopping by the attractions to speak with Cast Members if you miss your return time. There is likely a small grace period, but it will be up to Cast Member's discretion if you are far past the time your boarding group was called. Be sure push notifications are enabled within the
My Disney Experience Mobile App so you get an alert when your boarding group is called to return. You can keep checking the current group numbers on the app throughout the day, but it's easy to get distracted as you're enjoying the magic in the parks. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you can experience both of these incredible attractions on your visit this week!
Virginia, I hope this was helpful. Please come back and see us again with more planning questions.
Magic and memories,
Amy
