I have 3 $500 gift cards I plan to use to purchase tickets. I am purchasing only 3 tickets, since I can’t use all 3 at one time can I make 3 separate transactions to purchase the tickets and have them attach to my account so I can manage them?

Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Makayla. Not one, or even two, but three times the magic with three visits to the Disneyland Resort sounds like an absolute dream, and I fully approve.

You can most certainly purchase each ticket in a separate transaction. In fact, this may be the better way to accomplish this with three different visit dates. During the purchase process, you are required to select the date of your visit, which will create a theme park reservation for all tickets in your one transaction. Each ticket will appear in your MyDisney account.

If all of your visit dates happen to be within 13 days of the day of your first visit, you might want to consider purchasing a 3-day ticket. You'll be able to select each day that you'd like to visit and a theme park reservation will also be created for you. Before you go down this path, you'll want to carefully consider and be sure that you're able to make each visit, or at least complete all visits within the 13 days. Any days not used within 13 days of the first day on a multi-day ticket will be forfeited. You can also proceed through the purchase process with each option to see which is the best in terms of pricing. 1-day tickets are tiered with variable pricing depending on your visit date.

Did you know that you can also consolidate your gift card balances (up to $1,000 max on one card) to one Disney Gift Card? The Disneyland website can only accept one gift card per transaction, so having the ability to combine them is super helpful. Even if you decided to use one card each for three separate transactions, you can combine any of the remaining balances onto one card.

Makayla, I hope this is helpful as you're getting ready to add some magical plans to your future. Please come back to visit us with any questions that you might have. We love helping in any way that we can. Until then, here's wishing you a magical visit (times three) to the Happiest Place on Earth!
