Hello Gyongyi!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by with your question. Sounds like you scored an awesome deal on a Disney World vacation this Fall. I'm so happy when I find a
Special Offer that saves my family money on our trip, and the Free Dining Plan deal is the BEST!
The
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan is nice and flexible. After you check in on arrival day, you'll be granted the full allotment of meal and snack credits according the total nights of your stay. You are then allowed to use those dining credits at any time during your stay. If I understand you correctly, you plan to keep (and pay for) your original reservation dates, but will be departing one day before your reservation check out date. Gyongyi, I'm happy to assure you that yes you can use your credits earlier and you should not loose any! If you officially check out early in your My Disney Experience app, you may want to be sure and use all of your remaining dining credits before midnight. Leftover dining credits expire at midnight on the final day of your stay.
I double checked with a helpful Cast Member, and she confirmed if you need to leave a day before your official checkout date, you'll typically still be able to use all of your dining credits before you leave. Your dining credits are usually tied to the days of your stay, not the checkout time.
There are lots of terrific options for Quick-Service dining at the Disney resorts and parks. If you plan to visit Hollywood Studios, may I recommend a couple of savory entrees I recently tried at
Docking Bay 7 in Galaxy's Edge? You can't go wrong with either the Endorian Fried Chicken Tip Yip or the plant based Felucian Falafel and Hummus Garden Spread... they are both SO delicious!
Enjoy your magical vacation countdown! If you'd like any additional ideas for itinerary planning, Lightning Lane advice, or tips on the best snack and eating options for those dining credits, please feel free to
send me another question here at planDisney. I'd love to sprinkle pixie dust and help you make the best memories possible!
See ya real soon,
Tami
