I am a four year SoCal resident with a valid CA license in the correct zip code (90068) but I do not have a credit or debit card in California- can I still purchase the discounted tickets and get reservations at the park day of and pay with cash and my ID?

Well hello there, Bryan! Welcome to planDisney. It looks like you are hoping to visit The Happiest Place on Earth very soon, so let's get to your question!

The SoCal Resident Ticket Offer is an amazing deal for those eligible Guests to kick off 2025 with a few visits! Ticket Booths located in the Esplanade between Disneyland and California Adventure Parks do sell tickets on-site if you need to pay in cash. If you are hoping to take advantage of the current SoCal ticket offer, be sure to bring your valid government-issued ID that shows an eligible zip code. While in-person ticket purchases are available, theme park ticket reservations are not guaranteed. I highly recommend keeping a constant eye on the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar and double-checking with the Cast Member that reservations for the park of your choice are still available for the day of your visit before you make your purchase. At the time of writing this, I do see that reservations are available at both parks for the next few days.

If you plan on using cash for your visit, you may want to consider stopping in one of the shops and purchasing a Disney Gift Card. Not only is it quicker to scan and go when making purchases throughout the park, but you will also be able to use the mobile order option in the Disneyland app. This is one of my favorite features in the Disneyland app can really save you time ordering ahead and skipping those lines!

Bryan, thanks so much for stopping by! See you real soon!

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
