Hi there! My fiancé and I are going to WDW for our honeymoon in December. We’re already planning on going to MVMCP and Jollywood Nights, but we need to add more experiences to our bucket list! Any ideas? Thank you!

    Hello Ana Paula!

I'm so honored to answer your question today and thrilled to play even a small part in your celebration plans. When you find someone who loves you with all that they are, like Kristoff loves Anna, you simply must plan a fairy tale honeymoon!

You're already off to a great start with plans to visit Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park. I attended for the first time (in forever) last year, and was swept up by all the festive fun. I haven't experienced Jollywood Nights yet, but I love the idea of dressing to the nines for a holiday-themed evening soiree. I'm sure you and your Prince Charming will look fit for a coronation day ball.

I don't know how long you'll be celebrating but I'd be happy to share all my bucket list items to inspire your honeymoon itinerary. If you haven't already experienced a fireworks dessert party then you'll definitely want to add one to your list. Snuggling close to watch Happily Ever After from a reserved viewing area is the perfect way to celebrate your own happily ever after. Plus, you can toast to your love with sparkling wine, POG juice, or other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages along with an assortment of sweet and savory bites. I recommend the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Post-Party so you can sip and savor as the crowds clear out after the show. A Specialty Cruise on Seven Seas Lagoon would be another romantic way to enjoy the show from a unique perspective and you can sing along power-ballad style as the music is piped in on your private pontoon boat.

Dinner at EPCOT's Monsieur Paul or Takumi-Tei are also both high on my dining to-do list. These would be perfect ways to slow down, experience a delicious meal, and soak up some magical ambiance with your groom. If you'd prefer to reserve your dining for a non-park day consider Victoria & Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (my ultimate bucket list meal) or even an avant-grade dinner at Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood. My husband and I plan to enjoy the Chef's Signature Dinner for Two there for my birthday in a few weeks.

After all that celebrating you might need to unwind a bit. If you're feeling like a bit of a fixer-upper, why not visit The Grand Floridian Spa for a signature couples treatment? You'll find a variety of seasonal offerings there that just might help you let go of any post-nuptial stress. A Fire & Ice Massage is also available as a couples treatment at Mandara Spa at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. Love can thaw a frozen heart, but this service will certainly soothe those tired muscles.

Ana Paula, I hope these suggestions help you plan the most perfect honeymoon visit. If I can offer any additional recommendations please come right back and see me again! Love (and planDisney) are always an open door.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
