My family and I are staying for 7 nights at fort wilderness we have a 34 trailer hauling our car and golf carts we called and asked if we could park our 34 ft trailer on the overlflow parking . They said yes that’s great but I wanted a 2nd opinion florida

Welcome to planDisney, Jeff! I'm so happy to know you will be enjoying some time at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! Thanks for sending us your planning question.

I totally understand wanting a second opinion when it comes to making sure you have ample parking for your trailer when you visit. I'm happy to report that you can park it in the overflow parking lot without any issues. It's always a good idea to visit the Front Desk to let Cast Members know you will be parking your trailer in the overflow lot. They may also give you a printout with your reservation information and a plastic bag so you can attach it to your trailer.

Just in case, there's an important change when it comes to bringing your own golf cart to the Fort. You must show proof of insurance for your carts and sign a waiver when you arrive. This new rule went into effect in June 2024. You can view the details of the new rules by clicking on this link

Jeff, I hope I've been helpful. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. It's always our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next vacation!
