I'm so happy to see you at planDisney, Erica! And as a fellow Kentuckian, I'd be thrilled to help you today. My family cheers for the Wildcats, but I won't be mad if you root for the Cardinals!
Technical difficulties can be frustrating, so let's troubleshoot to help you get those Lightning Lane passes.
Since I can't be certain what theme park tickets you purchased, I'll start with some general steps to try. First, if your tickets are date-based, ensure everyone has a
theme park reservation. Sometimes that can cause a glitch when purchasing those passes.
You might also try
linking your husband's tickets in your
mobile app by selecting the "My Tickets & Passes" tile, then tapping the blue plus sign in the top right. You should have received an email with an ID or confirmation number for his ticket; enter it when prompted. I'm crossing my fingers and sprinkling pixie dust that you're able to buy Lightning Lane passes now!
If you're still having problems, call the
App & MagicBand Support line. The friendly Cast Members will have access to your accounts and should be able to help you purchase the passes. When you call, be sure to have the email associated with your husband's Disney account handy, along with your payment method. And having any documentation related to his admission would also be helpful.
My top tip for using
Lightning Lane Multi Pass is to book your first three attractions for early-morning times. You can select a new ride as soon as everyone has scanned into the first one, so the sooner you use one, the more rides you can keep booking. I'm the designated Lightning Lane securer, so I always have my app out and ready when we scan in for a ride. My husband says I have it down to a science!
Erica, I hope I've steered you toward success today! Go get those Lightning Lane passes, my friend. And please
stop by planDisney again; I'll be waiting in the Bluegrass.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
