Howdy, Kristina, and welcome to planDisney! As a Floridian local to Orlando, I know the excitement of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. It's a real treat when my husband and I book a stay; we'll be at Disney's Riviera Resort this fall, and I can't wait! It sounds like you have a fun group coming along, so let's look at options for booking more than one room.
While
booking online is easy, it can get tricky when you're trying to secure more than one hotel room. I suspect this might be to prevent guests from booking several rooms at various resorts until they finalize their plans. But hakuna matata! I have some ideas that might help.
First, you could recruit another guest in your party to book a room at the same resort. There's typically an option during checkout to request adjoining rooms, if that's something your group is interested in. Please note that if you're applying a
Special Offer, the second lead guest must meet the eligibility requirements to make the reservation in their My Disney Experience account.
Another option is to call the
Tickets & Hotel Reservations line to book both rooms. Cast Members can typically make two room reservations for the same guest, even if you're using a Special Offer. And oh boy! There are some fabulous deals for Florida residents. I hope you're able to take advantage of them.
If you are using a
Florida resident offer for these rooms, a helpful Cast Member named Strothers told me you can book up to three rooms using that discount, but you'll need to call in for assistance. Talk about sharing that southern sunshine! And please be sure to have your
proof of Florida residency on hand at check-in.
