Hello Everyone! My husb & I have booked our second trip to Disney for our girls (4, 2 yrs) date is set for Dec. 16th - 21st. I would to know any and every special detail I can do for my girls during this time bc we absolutely LOVE Christmas! Thank you!

    Hi Sadie,

Like your daughters, Christmas is my favorite time of the year and there is no better place to spend it than at Disney World! There are so many wonderful ways to celebrate the season at all 4 theme parks, Disney Springs, and each of the resort hotels.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a must-do at Magic Kingdom. This is a separately ticketed event with a Christmas parade featuring the big man himself, Santa! There are fabulous themed snacks, festive decorations, and even snow on Main Street to close out the night. You girls will even be able to dance away their Christmas jitters at Club Tinsel with their best Disney friends.

My favorite event of the season is the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. This is a beautiful event where you get to experience the magic of the season through the eyes of different cultures. You can stop by and listen to storytellers, eat festive foods from all over the world, and take the little ones on a holiday scavenger hunt. Each evening there is a Candlelight Processional which is a beautiful and moving experience hosted by a celebrity narrator that captures the emotion of the season for kids of all ages.

We also never miss the chance to check out all of the Disney resort hotels decked out in their holiday finest. The resort hotels will all feature beautifully decorated Christmas trees and the most epic gingerbread houses you have ever seen. I love strolling through all of the resort hotels on the monorail line because they feature some truly awesome Christmas trees. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort has a gingerbread house that you can actually buy themed treats out of.

    Happy Holidays,
    Jenna
