What is the check in time for Disney Resorts and do they allow late check in as my flight does not arrive in Orlando until 9:30 pm

    Hi Daphnie,

Official Disney World Resort hotel check-in starts at 4 PM. The coolest thing about checking in at Disney World is that you do not have to go to the front desk. With Direct-to-Room Service you complete your check-in entirely online. Whenever you arrive, you will go straight to your room and use either a MagicBand+ or your cell phone as your room key. I find this especially helpful for late-night arrivals. Whenever I arrive at Disney World late at night (which happens frequently) I want to get to my room as soon as possible so the magic of vacation can begin!

The My Disney Experience app and MagicMobile make everything at Disney World a breeze. I recommend downloading both apps before your vacation and setting everything up early.  Both apps enable you to check in seamlessly and get notifications that your room is ready before you have even left your house or while you are on your flight there. The room notification will also provide a map of your resort so you can easily get to your room and settle in. Don't worry! If you have any issues with online check-in, someone is always available at your resort's front desk to assist you.

If you haven't eaten yet because of a long flight into town, my hack is to use Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering to have something waiting for me when I get to the resort hotel. While I am on the bus or in the rideshare to my hotel, I select one of the dining locations at my resort and order something fabulous to take back to my room with me!

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
