Hi there, Erin! Welcome to planDisney - so glad you found us! I love that you are thinking ahead to some holiday magic at
Walt Disney World next year. It's never too early to start dreaming about your next Disney adventure! You've got a friend in me, and I'm here to share some tips on great places to stay during your trip. Let's get right to it!
In my book, you really can't go wrong with any of the incredible Disney
Resort Hotels. I love staying on property so I can feel like I'm in the "Disney bubble" for my entire vacation! There are so many great perks that come with an on-site stay, from
Early Theme Park Entry to complimentary transportation to whisk you between your resort and the parks. Guests staying on property can also book
Lightning Lane passes starting seven days before their check-in date, while non-resort Guests can book starting three days before their visit.
Erin, the most economical accommodations will generally be the Value resorts. These include
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort,
All-Star Music Resort, and
All-Star Sports Resort,
Disney's Pop Century Resort, and
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. I have stayed at all of these spots, and they're great places to hang your hat (or mouse ears!) during your vacation. It's also a good idea to take a look at the
Special Offers section of the Walt Disney World website - there are often deals available for Disney Visa cardholders, Disney+ subscribers, and more!
While you could book four separate hotel rooms at one of the All-Star Resorts, Art of Animation may be the resort you're looking for. The hotel offers a spacious
Family Suite that sleeps up to six adults and has
two full bathrooms. Our family really enjoys the theming at this resort, as well as the enormous
Big Blue Pool (the largest resort pool at Walt Disney World!) and a really outstanding food court. Depending on how your travel party will be divided, you could do a suite and two standard hotel rooms, or two suites. Keep in mind that reservations during the December holidays book FAST, so I recommend making plans sooner rather than later!
I hope this information is helpful as you're making your magical vacation plans, Erin! Thank you so much for dropping by to see us at planDisney, and please don't hesitate to
come back anytime if we can add a little extra pixie dust to your travels.
See Ya Real Soon!
