Hi Joanne, it's my pleasure to welcome you to planDisney. I'm glad you brought your question here.
I hope I'm correctly assuming you booked your Walt Disney World trip through a third-party travel agent. Usually, the agent will send you an email containing a PDF Will-Call ticket confirmation voucher. Within this PDF Will-Call voucher, on the top right-hand side, there will be a barcode with a number printed below; it's this number (along with the Lead Passenger Surname) to use when linking tickets in
My Disney Experience. If you have not received this information, please contact your agent as soon as possible. You are quite right that in order to enter the Parks, you will need both a valid ticket and
Park Reservation.
If you have not already done so, please set up a My Disney Experience Account. You can link your tickets and Disney Resort hotel booking here. You're likely to use the
My Disney Experience App frequently throughout your adventure - for placing mobile food and beverage orders, checking on wait times, or using the interactive map to find the best way around, for example. For this reason, we found bringing a portable mobile phone charger very helpful. You can purchase such a charging system at kiosks throughout Walt Disney World Resort and get 'refills' throughout your trip.
Top tip - Dining Reservations open up 60 days ahead of your arrival. If there is somewhere you must eat, I highly recommend making a reservation (again, this can be completed in the My Disney Experience App). One of my top dining recommendations is
Space 220 Lounge - it's out of this world fantastic!
Joanne, I wish you the most magical time making unforgettable memories! If you need anything else before your Walt Disney World trip, I will be here, ready to help, Louise.
