We are doing our first cruise on the Disney Wonder in January, I was hoping to work out what night for formal and pirate night ahead of our booking window opening? Its our first ever cruise and we are so excited.

    Hi Lauren,

We are thrilled you sailed by planDisney as you prepare for your first Disney Cruise Line vacation! I remember the excitement I had before my first cruise. I wanted to get all the details and learn everything I could to ensure that the experience was everything I hoped it would be. One of the great things about a Disney vacation is that Cast and Crew Members, and all of us at planDisney, are here to help!

I checked to see if the theme nights for your cruise itinerary had been announced, but they have not. The schedule is typically released about four months in advance. The good news is that this will give you plenty of time before your booking window opens. As a first-time Guest, your booking window for onboard activities, specialty dining, spa and salon treatments, and Port Adventures begins 75 days prior to sail date.

Lauren, please write back to me in September and we should have that information for you! You can always write to us with other questions you have. In the meantime, I encourage you to check out these great tips from the Disney Cruise Line planDisney Pocket Guide for Disney Wonder and some first-time cruiser tips from the planDisney Podcast. I'll look forward to sharing other great tips when you write back!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
