Hey, Howdy, Hey, Vanessa!
Thanks for bringing your question about planning your son’s first birthday to us at here planDisney! You are certainly in the right place. I have a tumbly toddler about the same age and we’ve been having the rootinist tootinest time exploring the
new Mickey’s Toontown and tasting many of the yummy treats featured on
Disney Eats on Instagram for several months now. I have so many ideas for
how to make your son’s first birthday super special, but first, let's talk
theme park tickets!
Vanessa, you can book theme park tickets and
theme park reservations up to 120 days in advance. As of now, I can see tickets available for sale until mid-September. But no worries! You can secure a higher-tier ticket (for a single day) today for your December visit. Then, make a theme park reservation when your travel dates are within 120 days. Just keep in mind that Disneyland has different pricing tiers, so since you’re visiting around the holidays, the tickets you want will probably be on the pricier side.
In the meantime, you can link your
theme park tickets to your
Disneyland Resort account online or in the
Disneyland Mobile App. Speaking of which, I recommend downloading the app if you haven't already. It's a real game-changer! I love using the map and filters
to find characters, read about showtimes, and stay one jump ahead of the breadline by making
Mobile Food Orders whenever I’m picking up food or beverage around the park is one of my favorite things to do! It’s like flying on a magic carpet to the front of the restaurant queue!
Keep those questions coming, Vanessa! If you have any more questions, I’d love to share
my favorite tips and
tricks for staying at the Disneyland Resort with you and your crew. Consider me your personal pixie dust sprinkler! Feel free to
message me directly for a quicker response next time.
You’ve got a friend in me,
Danielle
