Hiya Margaret!
Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like your littlest Mouseketeer is the same age as my own tumbly Tigger, so it is truly a treat to answer this question for you today. I know you’re going to make countless memories with your grandchildren at the Disneyland Resort that you will each treasure forever.
When I took my son to the Resort for the very first time, we picked up a special celebration button that said "First Visit" for him at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A.
You may like to have your little ones’ silhouette portraits made at the Silhouette Studio for a unique keepsake.
Now Margaret, lately I’ve been eager to share what I know about the Baby Centers at the resort as a good spot to get toasty and reset! The centers furnished with comfortable nursing chairs and everything a baby or toddler needs such as bottle warmers and potty-training toilets, and Dads feel relieved here too since these changing stations are the coziest place for freshening up younglings’ diapers.
I’m glad your party has invested in the Disney Genie Service. Even if you spend a large amount of time in Fantasyland with very few opportunities to use Lightning Lanes, you'll have unlimited
Disney PhotoPass downloads during your stay. That's wonderful because you can focus on your family, worrying less about capturing their priceless reactions since the Disney photographers can! And Margaret, don’t forget to download the
Disneyland Mobile App if you haven’t already. This is necessary to upload your tickets, but more importantly, familiarizing yourself with this app will save precious minutes navigating wait times. And you'll also be able to place mobile orders for meals, snacks & beverages for pick up with minimal waiting. You'll be those Astro-blasting lines all day!
I spend most of my time with my tot in Fantasyland. My favorite ride is “it’s a small world”, and my little Roo can ride the King Arthur Carrousel many times in a row! I find that the Storybook Land Canal Boats are a hidden treasure, and if you venture out to Critter Country,
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is a baby-pleasing ride that usually has very brief wait times. It exits into Pooh Corner, my favorite place to stock up on fresh treats since it’s usually less busy than the other confection shops around the parks.
Have you considered making a reservation for a character breakfast dining location, Margaret? Your Disney PhotoPass downloads are applied there, and I find that it's the best way for your Hungry Bears to satisfy their rumbly tummies and for your Mouseketeers to meet Mickey & Friends in one place.
The Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at the Plaza Inn is popular, but
Goofy’s Kitchen holds a special place in my heart because we spent my very first Mother’s Day there last year. My little man-cub enjoyed chewing on the famous Mickey Waffles, and my husband enjoyed his fill of chilaquiles too!
I loved sharing these tips with you and I hope you found them to be helpful too! Please feel free to
come back and ask me any other questions now that you’ve got a friend in me. I love to share ways to keep those tiny Mouseketeers comfortable and happy in the parks.
Warmest wishes,
Danielle
