I am going to Disney with family and only 2 of us have Annual Passes, but it won't let us book lightening lanes for other days with the people who have annual passes. We are staying off property.

    Hello, Amelia!

Thanks for stopping by with your question. Based on your arrival date of May 23, your Lightning Lane Pass booking window as an off-property guest should have opened at 7 am EST this morning (3 days ahead of your ticket start date for the length of your multi-day ticket). Annual Passholders without an eligible resort reservation can also purchase Lightning Lane Passes 3 days in advance; however, each day must be booked individually at the 3-day out mark. There are a few other potential action items, so let's troubleshoot!

First, be sure all members of your group are linked via your Family & Friends List. This will allow you to select all eligible guests' names when checking off "Who's Included" during your purchase. My pal Elaine shares some instructions for connecting all your family and friends here.

Next, be sure the Annual Passholders in your group have made theme park reservations for their visit. I'm also an Annual Passholder, and though I can view Lighting Lane availability in the My Disney Experience app over the next 3 days, I'm only offered return windows from 2 pm EST and later, as I don't have any theme park reservations booked this week. Passholders don't need reservations for visits after 2 pm most days (the exception being weekend visits to Magic Kingdom Park), so if you aren't seeing the same attraction availability for everyone, this might be the reason why.

I recommend securing Lightning Lane Passes for the group with multi-day tickets now, then trying to book overlapping return windows for your Passholder pals as they reach their eligible booking window each day. You might not be able to secure the same exact times, but hopefully you'll find enough of an overlap in your 60-minute windows to ride together. You also have the option of modifying your original selections to match the Passholder's time slots once booked. I just shared some modification how-tos with another guest here if you'd like guidance.

Amelia, I hope this helps. If you are still having technical issues after tackling the steps above, I recommend reaching out to a Cast Member by phone for support.

Wishing you all a magical visit!
