We are going on a Disney cruise and staying at a Disney resort before, and then to a Disney resort after. Our family is driving from 2 different places so we will have 2 cars. We are going to take one car to the cruise terminal can we leave 1 car @ resort?

Hi there, Hannah! Welcome to planDisney, where my pals and I are happy to have you sail to us with your question.

It won't be long till you'll be enjoying your time aboard Disney Cruise Line with your family. It's my family's absolute favorite way to vacation, and I hope you love every moment of your sailing. I understand your desire to carpool to the port; however, Disney World Resort Collection Hotel parking is intended only for registered overnight guests, so I advise you not to leave a car at the resort during your Disney Cruise.

If you are looking for the most budget-friendly option for long-term parking near Orlando, your best bet might be looking into off-site parking lots near the airport. I hope you can finalize your transportation plans soon and set sail on a cruise that strikes the perfect balance between relaxation and adventure.

To be best prepared for your cruise, please make sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. It will point your compass toward all the fun onboard. One of my favorite features of the Navigator app is that you can search through the Daily Activity Schedule and receive notifications when activities you are interested in are about to begin. You'll need to make sure you have notifications enabled from the app, and then simply click the heart icon next to any activity listed that interests you. Sometimes I lose track of time reading a book by the pool, or eating an ice cream cone in front of the Funnel Vision, and those notifications can be really helpful!

    Bon Voyage!
