When I first saw the cruise confirmed in the app, I saw a link to request transportation from the hotel to port but now I don’t see it, we want to request that so how do we get that link back? Hotel was booked thru Disney call

    Ahoy, Cynthia!

Welcome aboard planDisney! Choosing Disney's ground transfers is one of my favorite ways to kick off a Disney Cruise Line vacation. It lets you relax and enjoy the excitement while Disney takes care of getting you from your hotel to the port. It's almost like having your own Fairy Godmother for embarkation morning!

Based on your question, it looks like you're sailing in 2027. The reason that transportation option has disappeared is most likely because Disney has not yet opened ground transfer bookings for 2027 sailings. While Disney hasn't announced an official release date, I would expect them to become available within the next 45 to 60 days based on previous years.

Once transfers are available, you should be able to open your reservation in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, select "View All" under the Next Steps section, and scroll until you find the “Ground Transportation” card. Since you mentioned your hotel reservation was booked directly through Disney by phone, you should be able to add the transfers yourself once they become available. If you're working with a travel agent for your cruise reservation, they'll need to make that request for you.

My crew and I used Disney's ground transportation during our sailing earlier this year, and it made embarkation day incredibly easy. About 48 hours before we sailed, we received an email explaining exactly what to expect. It let us know someone would pick up our checked luggage from our resort room around 7:00 AM, and then we simply met in the lobby around 9:15 AM before boarding the motorcoach for a 9:45 AM departure. Your schedule may look a little different, but Disney will provide all the details you need before it's time to set sail.

I hope this helps as you get everything lined up for your 2027 sailing! Embarkation morning is exciting enough without worrying about transportation, and Disney's ground transfers make the trip feel like the first chapter of your cruise adventure. Here's hoping your only job that morning is spotting your ship as it comes into view!

Sea ya real soon with sunshine on deck and fireworks lighting up the night sky,
