Ahoy, Amanda! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for reaching out with your transportation question. There is truly nothing better than combining a stay at the Walt Disney World Resort with a sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line because you get to experience double the Disney magic during a single trip.
Many guests choose to stay at one of the
Disney World Resorts before or after their sailing from
Port Canaveral, so Disney Cruise Line offers
ground transfers by bus between the two destinations for an additional fee on both embarkation and debarkation days. In order to add transportation between your Disney World hotel and Port Canaveral, you should call Disney Cruise Line directly at (800) 951-3532. Cast members are available to speak with you Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST. Be sure to have your Disney Cruise Line reservation number ready and know which Disney World hotel you will be staying at before your cruise. Ground transfers are limited, so be sure to book your reservation in advance to guarantee your spot.
When you book a one-way transfer from your Disney World hotel to Port Canaveral for embarkation day, you also have the option of adding ground transportation for debarkation day from Port Canaveral back to a Disney World hotel or to the Orlando International Airport. If you will be flying home after your cruise, then I highly recommend adding an airport transfer so that all of your travel plans are arranged in advance.
I hope you have an amazing Disney vacation both on land and at sea. If you have any other questions about Disney World or Disney Cruise Line, then we are always happy to help at planDisney. Happy sailing!
