    We will be staying at Walt Disney dolphin before our Disney cruise embarking from Port Canaveral. We wanted to see if we can walk to the nearest Disney resort (Broadwalk resort I believe) and get picked up by ground transportation to the port?

    Ahoy, Sayaka! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for bringing us your question. It sounds like you are just weeks away from a double Disney vacation and will be spending time at the Walt Disney World Resort before you set sail where magic meets the sea.

    Disney Cruise Line does offer ground transfers to Port Canaveral for guests staying at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts, but you will need to go to a different hotel for pick-up. The two closest options with port transfer availability would be Disney’s Beach Club Resort or Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. Just be prepared to take your luggage with you from your hotel to the pick-up location on embarkation morning.

    You can book your port transfer by calling Disney Cruise Line directly at (800) 951-3532 and asking to add a one-way transfer from one of those two resorts for your sailing’s embarkation day. Cast members are available to speak with you Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST. Be sure to have your Disney Cruise Line reservation number ready and they will help you add ground transportation. If you will need transportation back to Disney World or to the Orlando International Airport on debarkation day, then you can also book one of those ground transfer options.
