Hi John! Thank you for reaching out to planDisney. We are happy to answer your burning questions about your upcoming visit!
One of the many benefits of staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel at the
Walt Disney World Resort is that you get access to free transportation from the resort hotels to the parks and
Disney Springs. I love this benefit because I never rent or bring a car. Instead, once I'm on property, I let Disney worry about getting me from place to place. Whether it's the
Walt Disney World Bus Transportation,
Walt Disney World Water Transportation,
Walt Disney World Monorail Transportation, or my new favorite, the
Disney Skyliner, I consider these transportation options attractions in and of themselves!
The Walt Disney World Bus Service from the Disney Resorts Collection Hotels to the parks and Disney Springs is only for the use of Guests staying at these hotels. However, once you are at a theme park, you can use transportation options like the Monorail, the Disney Skyliner, boats, or buses to get from one park to the other if you have the
Park Hopper Option tied to your ticket.
While you will not be able to use the buses from the hotels to the parks, it is usually easy to find a rideshare or taxi service in the area. If you are staying at a non-Disney resort, you may want to check to see if your hotel offers a shuttle service as many area hotels do. However, some hotels charge for this service so you'll want to check in advance and also check the hours it is offered.
John, I hope you have a wonderful visit to the resort. With so many
new and exciting additions coming to the resort, there is always something to look forward to!
If you have any other questions, please
reach out to me again and I'd be happy to help!
There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day,
Matt
