Any discounts for retired military personnel

    Hi there, T!

Welcome back to planDisney, where we love helping Guests like you find answers to their Disney vacation questions. Let me start by extending a giant THANK YOU for your service to our country. As a military spouse, I have seen firsthand the dedication and sacrifice required by our U.S. Military Members and their families. I am pleased to share special offers and discounts Disney extends to our brave active-duty and retired military personnel.

My family has enjoyed many discounts and special offers over the years, with specially priced theme park tickets, discounted stays at select Disney Resort hotels, and special offers for cruises on Disney Cruise Line. As a retired U.S. Military Member, you can purchase 4-, 5-, and 6-Day 2025 Military Salute Tickets from your local base ticket sales office, Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort, or a theme park ticket window. Please note that tickets purchased at theme park ticket windows will be charged tax, while tickets sold at your base ticket office or Shades of Green will not. You can read more about the 2025 Disney Military Salute Tickets here

Retired U.S. Military Members can also book discounted stays at select Disney Resort hotels. To check for hotel availability and book a room with this offer, you will need to call (407) 939-7830 to speak with a Cast Member. Some dates and resorts are not included in the military offer. I usually call when I have a set of travel dates in mind and have the Cast Member check for availability at all the qualifying resorts with the military offer. Right now, the discounted rates for military extend to stays through December 19, 2025, with some block-out dates in April and more in November. You can read more on the Military Hotel Discount page

U.S. Military Members can purchase a Memory Maker, a Disney PhotoPass Product at a special price. To purchase the specially priced Memory Maker visit a theme park ticket window with valid military identification. The Memory Maker is a great way to capture and keep all the PhotoPass photos and videos from your Walt Disney World vacation.

These are all the discounts you can find at Walt Disney World Resort, but please note you can also find discounted theme park tickets for Disneyland Resort in California and discounted cruises with Disney Cruise Line. These offers are an incredible way that Disney *salutes* our U.S. Service Members.

I hope this information helps you plan a Disney vacation that is practically perfect in every way. If we can answer any more of your questions, please don't hesitate to contact us here at planDisney. We are always happy to help you experience the most magical vacation possible.

    Happy Planning!
    Angie
