How come Disney doesn’t offer a discount to regular Military Veterans? I only see for people who are disabled but not for regular veterans. Please advise.

    Hi Susana,

Disney World has several discounted offers for current and retired US military on theme park tickets, resort stays, and even Memory Maker.

Disney Military Salute Tickets are available for purchase at your local participating US Military sales outlets by Eligible Service Members and their spouses. Eligible Service Members include active or retired members of the US Military. These tickets are available in 4-day, 5-day, or 6-day options with minimal blackout dates. You will need to visit one of these ticket locations locally to purchase your tickets and they will validate your status and ID before you head to Disney World.

Disney World also has a limited number of rooms available at a discount to retired and current US Military members with military ID. You must call to book these rooms and the deal is subject to availability. Shades of Green is a fabulous Disney World property that is available exclusively to current and retired US Military. It is actually an Armed Forces Recreation Center that offers a whole host of benefits to current and retired US Military members and their families while vacationing at Disney World. On top of the already affordable pricing offered at this property, they regularly run seasonal specials with additional discounts so make sure to check with them when you call to book.

Another great US Military benefit ability to purchase Memory Maker at a deeply discounted price. This service gives you access to PhotoPass photographers throughout the theme parks who will take pictures of you and your family. These photos will automatically show up in your My Disney Experience app and with the purchase of Memory Maker, you get to download all of them! The easiest way to add this service is by visiting Guest Services when you arrive and having them add it at the discounted rate.

    Happy Planning,
