Hi there, Iris! Welcome Home - and welcome to planDisney! It's always a treat to meet a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member. Since you'll be arriving at
Walt Disney World TOMORROW, time is of the essence! I'll be happy to supply the information you need so you're ready to eat your way around the "World" this week.
Disney Dining Plans are a great way to plan ahead for your vacation and set a budget for your dining expenses. With two choices - the
Disney Dining Plan and the
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan - you can pick the option that best suits your family's tastes. We tend to choose the Disney Dining Plan since it includes a table-service meal each day. I am a firm believer in a leisurely lunch to break up a busy park day, hydrate, and decide which attraction to conquer next!
Iris, if you purchased a dining plan to add to a DVC stay, you will not see anything if you're looking at the booking on the DVC Member website. The plan will typically appear in the
My Disney Experience app starting on your check-in day since the plan is tied to the reservation. Starting tomorrow, navigate to the "My Resort Stay" section of the app, and then select "Check Dining Plan". You will see the total meal credits that are available and can check back anytime throughout your vacation to see what has been used.
You are going to have a fantastic time sampling all of the best treats at Walt Disney World during your trip! I especially love using my snack credits from the dining plan wisely to enjoy some of my favorites, including the maple popcorn at the Canada Pavilion in
EPCOT, DOLE Whip (found at several different spots!), and my husband's go-to, the carrot cake cookie at
Trolley Car Café in
Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Wishing you safe travels and a simply magical vacation, Iris! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, and please
come see us again anytime if we can help with other vacation planning questions to add a little extra pixie dust to your travels.
Stay Magical!
Susan
