Hiya Audrey,
Welcome to planDisney! I looked at your question, and I’m not 100% sure what you are asking, so I will do my very best to get you the answer you are looking for. Could you do me a favor, though, Audrey? If I don’t answer your question, please come back and see me. My goal is to help you have the most magical vacation possible!
So, let’s get to the facts, Audrey. When you visit Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks for dining (such as
Cinderella’s Royal Table at
Magic Kingdom Park) or for any other reason, you will need to pay for
parking to park at the Theme Parks. The exception is if you are a Guest of one of the Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotels (and select other resorts) or a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder. If you are a Guest of a Resort Hotel, when you arrive to park at a Theme Park, they will scan your MagicBand (or your ticket card) to verify that you are a resort guest and your parking is included. If every one of your six additional Guests are also Guests of a resort hotel, then they will receive the same benefit as long as they are listed on the resort reservation. They will be prompted to pay the parking fee if they are not. If you are dining at one of the Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotels, you do not have to pay for parking at the resort hotel, as self-parking is complimentary with your dining reservation. Just make sure to have each person listed on the dining reservation, and when you get to the gate of the resort hotel, provide your dining confirmation information for the Cast Member at the entrance. Audrey, one thing to note is that you will only be permitted to park at the resort hotel for three hours before moving your vehicle. Don’t worry, though, because, in my experience, three hours is plenty of time to eat and explore the resort hotel before time lapses.
I hope this was helpful, Audrey and I answered your question. One final thing to bring to your attention: if you are dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table, don’t forget you must have a valid Theme Park ticket and
Disney Park Pass Reservation to enter Magic Kingdom Park to enjoy your meal. If you plan to
park hop, you can do so beginning at 2 pm each day.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
