Hi! I have a dining reservation at a resort we are not staying at. It is for 5 adults and a baby. Are we able to park our 2 vehicles at the resort since everyone is listed on the dining reservation?

Hi there, Katie! Welcome to planDisney! I’m glad you found us! I have good news to share with you!

Guests who are going to enjoy dining, shopping, recreation, or entertainment at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, may park at the resort hotel free of charge while they are participating in any of the activities that I mentioned!

When you arrive at the resort hotel, the Cast Member at the gate might ask you to show proof of your dining reservation. Simply show your reservations in your My Disney Experience plans or the email that you received after making your dining reservation. Sometimes they will ask if it is a particularly busy season such as the holidays. If it isn’t too busy, they might just allow you to proceed. Either way, the Guests in both cars should be prepared to show the reservation just in case you are asked.

Katie, you mentioned that you are going to have a little Mouseketeer with you! Be sure to you look into the Rider Switch opportunity at the Disney Parks! This will allow one adult to stay with the little one while the other adult can ride an attraction. Then, when the first adult is done riding the attraction, the adult who stayed with the little one can then ride the attraction without having to wait in line!

Come on back to planDisney with any questions that you have! We’re happy to help!

    Dreams do come true!
