Welcome to planDisney, Elizabeth!
When we visit
Walt Disney World, it's not just about the exciting rides, outstanding shows, and beautiful ambience, it's also about fabulous dining. That's why we were thrilled that
Disney Dining Plans are back and we could enjoy one on our recent stay. Woo hoo!
On our very first stop in January, I went straight to that exact location you've mentioned:
La Cantina de San Angel. Although the "Top Shelf" Clásica on the Rocks Margarita is my favorite, it is not available as the beverage that comes with a Quick-Service meal. Instead, I tried something new--Mexican Red Sangria--and, oh my goodness, was it tasty paired with my Arroz Bowl with Barbacoa Beef. Yum!
Elizabeth, you'll find many other locations throughout the parks, resorts, and
Disney Springs that include special alcoholic beverages with a QS meal for those 21 and older, so it's a good idea to ask. For example, at
The Polite Pig, I enjoyed their super-refreshing Grapefruit Margarita along with the special entree that day: sweet chili rubbed short rib with mashed potatoes and cider-braised collard greens. Not only was this another exceptionally delicious QS meal, we felt the value we got by using our DDP was outstanding. Instead of paying $75 for lunch for two, we simply tapped a
MagicBand+ and used our last two QS meals before heading off to catch our flight home. Easy peasy.
Guests can also check out posted Quick-Service menus upon arrival, looking for the DDP logo that will appear next to any item that is included on the plan. Plus, if using
Mobile Order in the
My Disney Experience app, you'll be able to see which options can be ordered using your DDP meals and snacks, too. It's another great way to learn how to maximize the magic of your Disney Dining Plan.
As you put together all of your pixie-dusted plans, Elizabeth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
