Hello Kim!
It's nearly
the most wonderful time of the year to visit Walt Disney World Resort. The sights and sounds of the holidays dazzle me every time and I can't help but let the spirit of the season (and a few sweet Mickey-shaped snacks) fuel my December park visits.
Happily Ever After feels like the star on top of my tree every time I see it, but viewing the stunning display during a separately ticketed dessert party is pretty hard to beat. The
Hours & Events Calendar is not yet published for December 21, but that should be updated very soon. Luckily, I was able to call on some of Santa's helpers to get a sneak peek at the predicted schedule.
Based on the information currently available,
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Pre-Party, Post-Party, and
Seats & Sweets are all listed on the December schedule. These are slightly different experiences but will all offer dessert and beverages with a view of Magic Kingdom's Fireworks from a reserved area. The parties are currently held at
Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant and will require you to check in at a designated time.
I booked the
Post-Party during Disney Enchantment in 2022 and loved having space to enjoy the show without staking out a spot in advance. Capping off my evening with sweet and savory treats and a glass (or two) of sparkling wine immediately after the performance, was well worth the splurge.
For some reason, these event pages aren't appearing in my search results (could just be a web update in the works), but I was able to locate them on the
Enchanting Extras Collection page. Guests can typically book these experiences 60 days in advance so I recommend continuing to check for availability as that date nears. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you can end your magical day of park hopping singing your heart out in Magic Kingdom Park.
I hope this helped, Kim. Please jingle on back to planDisney with any additional questions. We're always ready to help make spirits bright.
Magic and memories,
Amy
