The day I planned for my ticket is scheduled to rain due to the tropical depression. Can I change my one day ticket date?

    Hi Kailey,

Welcome to planDisney! While every day at Disney World is magical, I understand wanting to wait until a day when the weather is also magical. Disney World tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferrable but you can adjust the dates on your tickets if necessary. There is an easy process and a policy around changing the dates on your tickets if your plans change or you have concerns about the weather.

The first thing you need to do is log into your My Disney Experience account. Once you are logged in, navigate to the area titled "Tickets and Passes." Click on the ticket you want to change the date of and select "Change Ticket." A calendar will pop up for you to select new dates and you will follow a process to check out. Keep in mind that the ticket price for your new dates may be higher and you will need to pay the difference when checking out.

If you have any issues making the change in your My Disney account, the easiest thing to do is call the Existing Tickets phone number. A friendly cast member will be able to help you make any necessary changes!

If you are still considering your trip, Disney World rarely closes for weather. There is a hurricane policy if the weather shifts to be more serious. If a hurricane warning is issued by the National Hurricane Center for the Orlando area within 7 days of your scheduled arrival date, you may be able to reschedule or cancel your tickets or vacation packages.

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
