Hey there, Erica!
I hope you're having a magical day! Thank you for taking the time to plan your adventure with us again. We here at planDisney love being part of helping families create unforgettable memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
One of the most important parts of planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is deciding which days to visit. I've personally visited the parks during both of the timeframes you're considering, including over the holiday weekend in February, so I'm happy to share some insight on what to expect. If it were my vacation, I'd recommend the April dates you selected. But there's also still the chance of some spring break crowds. By avoiding holidays, you'll likely experience lighter crowds, especially since your trip falls on weekdays. While I can't guarantee there won't be local visitors, this timing typically results in a more relaxed atmosphere.
If you need to visit in February, don't worry! I've still had wonderful experiences during that time. The weather is absolutely lovely, warm during the day and cool at night, making it perfect for sweaters.
As for upcoming attractions, we don't yet have information on their opening dates. The best way to stay updated is by checking the
official Walt Disney World Resort website for announcements. There are so many exciting things on the horizon;
Tropical Americas will surely be a fabulous addition to
Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Bonus tip: Staying at a Disney Resort hotel unlocks
fantastic perks that make your vacation extra magical and stress-free. My personal favorite is
Early Theme Park Entry, giving you a 30-minute head start on the fun before the parks open to everyone else. I also love the c
omplimentary transportation. There's something special about letting Disney handle the driving so you can enjoy a nap after a busy park day.
Be sure to keep an eye out for
special offers for your travel dates. I recommend booking your trip early. If a new offer comes up that fits your plans, simply
call Disney, and a friendly Cast Member can add it to your reservation.
To maximize your time in the parks, take advantage of both
Lightning Lanes and Early Theme Park Entry. And don't forget: Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels can book Lightning Lanes up to 7 days before arrival for their entire stay!
Erica, I hope this information has been helpful. Please feel free to reach out anytime. I've truly enjoyed assisting you today.
