    What dates in 2025 will Disneyland celebrate the 70th anniversary in the parks? Would like to plan but do not know when the celebration begins and ends.

    How wonderful to see you back with another question! We do so appreciate hearing from you again and I loved reading your question. All of us at planDisney know how important 2025 is to the Disneyland Resort because, as you already know, it's going to be Disneyland Park's 70th Anniversary!

    Kelly, I wish that I had a more definitive answer for you (especially because you're actively planning a trip) but all we know at this point is what Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, announced at the recent panel at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event on August 10, 2024. He revealed that Disneyland Park will indeed be celebrating its 70th Anniversary in 2025 and showed the upcoming logo associated with this celebration. No other information was released regarding the Anniversary. The Disney Parks Blog posted a nice little recap of announcements for the Disneyland Resort. 

    Disneyland's Anniversary falls on July 17, 2025, so I'm fairly certain that something special will happen on that day. I know we're all hoping for an expanded celebration (like the year-long Disney100 event that spanned nearly all of 2023) but all I can say is to keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for upcoming news. 

    Will this be your first time visiting Walt's original Park? I'm excited for you to see it and we're always happy to help Walt Disney World Resort veterans get accustomed to the Disneyland Resort. There's just something special about walking around the Park that started it all, knowing that Walt Disney himself had a direct hand in several of the attractions that still operate to this day.
