Welcome back to planDisney! We are so glad you are here and planning for another magical vacation with Mickey on the Disney Dream this summer. I cruised out of Southampton last summer and loved being able to enjoy some time in London, so I'm glad you are taking advantage of some land and sea fun on this vacation.

Charlotte, I reached out to Disney Cruise Line about your question to make sure your embarkation day goes smoothly. They recommend you arrive at London Heathrow International Airport no later than 10:00 am for your ground transfers to Southampton. The ride to the port takes about 2.5 hours, depending on traffic. Disney Cruise Line will have representatives at four terminals to meet you, so you can select the one most conveniently located to your drop-off location. Terminal 2 between the WH Smith Retail Store and the exit, Terminal 3 at the "We Know London" desk, and in front of Costa Coffee in Terminals 4 and 5. Be sure to have your port arrival form, any important travel documentation, and medications with you in your carry-on luggage.

I know you'll enjoy having time on your sea day to enjoy everything the Disney Dream has to offer. Be sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app so you can fill your day with onboard fun and relaxation! I enjoy starting a sea day with some Mickey waffles at Cabanas, a specialty coffee from Cove Café, and a walk around Deck 4.
