Ahoy, Lyndsey!
Thank you for visiting planDisney with your question. It won't be long before you board the beautiful
Disney Wish and sail away to the
Bahamas. The magical Grand Hall will be the first stop on embarkation day, and it's such a spectacular space to welcome you to your floating destination.
Lyndsey, there are
several port adventures to Blue Lagoon offered by Disney Cruise Line. When you booked your particular excursion, you should have chosen a start time. That will be the time you will meet on board as a group (you can check "My Plans" on the website or
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app). Once everyone has checked in with a Cast Member, you'll disembark with the group and walk along the pier until you reach the boats that will take you over to the island. The ride over is about 35 minutes. The duration of the port adventure should also have been listed in the description. I noticed all the Blue Lagoon Port Adventure options are between 4.5 and 5.5 hours. This time usually runs from check-in on the ship to returning to the ship, so that should give you a good idea of when you might expect to be back. I always like to add 30 minutes in case of any delays. Since all aboard is 5:30 pm for your day in
Nassau, you will be back in time for early dining at 5:45 pm. When you arrive at Blue Lagoon, ask at Guest Services whether there are any options to return to the ship earlier.
I hope this gives you a good idea of what your day will look like on Blue Lagoon in the Bahamas, Lyndsey. No need to bring towels to check in, as they will have them available for you. I do like to have a beach bag to place them in with anything else we may need ashore, like sunscreen, goggles, and cash for tips. If lunch is not included in your port adventure, you'll need a credit card for purchases.
Please let us know if we can help you further with your magical plans.
