    My cruise page said I had a $45 refund yesterday and now it says 0. Is there a way to find where it went? I checked all my gift cards and they still say 0. Maybe it takes time?

    Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for bringing us an insightful question regarding your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation. This same scenario happened to me on my recent cruise, so I’m happy to help you understand what could be going on.

    Part of the fun on a Disney Cruise Line vacation is visiting beautiful and exciting ports of call, but you only need to unpack once! Each port will have associated taxes, fees, and port expenses that are itemized into your total cruise cost. As you get closer to your sail date, the total amount of these fees is refined based on the number of passengers and other factors. Disney may then issue you a refund based on the recalculations, which you noticed as a negative balance on your reservation summary in either the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App or the Disney Cruise Line website. Once this credit is issued back to you, the balance on your reservation will appear as $0.00 (US).

    All refunds are generated to the original form of payments in the order that they were received on the reservation. In my experience, the credit went back to the card that paid for my cruise balance before the paid in full date. Please check the following payment sources for your credit:

    • The last form of payment used to finalize your Disney Cruise Line vacation before the paid in full date
    • If within 30 days of your sailing and you've completed Online Check-In, the credit card on file for your stateroom folio

    If neither of these shows the credit you’re anticipating, please call Disney Cruise Line directly and they can share exactly which card the refund was issued to.
