Like you, when I'm at my Happy Place, I am always on the go. I like to have everything that I need with me at all times, including my handy dandy water bottle. Your question is a great one, and I am more than happy to give you more insight about what to expect.
Here's the good news: You can absolutely ride most of the Disney World attractions while wearing a crossbody bag. The attached tumbler shouldn't be an issue either. In fact, I have seen many Guests around the Disney Parks with bags designed like that.
On less intense rides with little to no restraints, you should be able to continue wearing your bag. If you are afraid that the tumbler isn't secure in its holder during the more intense rides, take it out before the ride and tuck it inside one of the pockets that are in front of you. For example, when taking on the mighty Yeti at
Expedition Everest, I place my bag at my feet and put miscellaneous items like a small umbrella inside the closable pocket in front of my knees. Depending on the size of your crossbody bag, you may be able to fit it inside the pocket altogether.
Some rides at Disney World do require you to place your bag--with or without a water bottle--in a location away from the ride vehicle.
TRON at Magic Kingdom and
Avatar Flight of Passage at Animal Kingdom have either storage or lockers for your belongings.
Soarin' Across America at EPCOT has nets under the seats for bags; however, you have the choice of placing it on the ground off to the side.
AN EXTRA GEM: If you want to ride as many attractions as your heart desires without waiting very long, consider purchasing
Lightning Lane access. There are three different types of Lightning Lane passes that are all great and useful in their own ways. I recommend checking out how those work; I've attached an informational video with my friends
