Hey there, Lora, and welcome to planDisney!
I can't believe that the not-so-scariest time of year is already here. The pumpkin-adorned Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom is one of the dreamiest views you'll ever see--both during the day and at night. Let's jump right into what entertainment to expect during your daytime visit.
I believe that you are referring to the Boo To You Halloween Parade at
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It is quite the magical, spooktacular parade full of Happy Haunts and classic Disney characters dressed in their Spooky Season best. The parade is only for Guests with party tickets. According to the
Day Calendar, you will visit on a party date (September 20). This means that if you'd like to view it, you'll want to purchase party tickets on the Disney World website.
The
Festival of Fantasy Parade is a daytime parade that you can view at 2 p.m. without a party ticket. Although I am obsessed with the Boo To You Halloween Parade, this is still a fun parade to see on your trip. If you visit on a non-party date, you can still enjoy the nighttime spectacular of the
Disney Starlight Parade.
AN EXTRA GEM: You'll be happy to hear that crowds are usually a lot lighter at Magic Kingdom on party days. Because the theme park closes earlier for daytime Guests, there are many people who decide to skip it altogether. This means that you may experience shorter ride queues before the party even begins.
Lora, I hope that you have an amazing time exploring Magic Kingdom in September. If you have additional questions about your upcoming vacations to Disney World (and beyond),
revisit us here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
