Hello there, Jayme, and welcome to planDisney!
We appreciate you bringing your question to us and I'm excited to see that your visit to the Disneyland Resort is coming up very fast! I see that you have some Gift Cards that you'd like to use while you are in the Parks and I'd be happy to assist you.
It sounds like you've already downloaded the
Disneyland Mobile App, which is great. You are definitely able to use a Gift Card for
mobile food orders. Unlike credit cards, however, the App does not allow you to store a Gift Card, so it will need to be entered manually every time. Just make your food order like normal. After pressing "Review Order Summary," you will be taken to the payment screen. At the bottom, you'll need to press "Use a Different Payment Method." This will add the option to use "Disney Gift Card or Disney Rewards Redemption Card." You will select "Add a Card" and then you'll need to manually enter the 16 digit card number or scan it with your phone's camera. I like to recommend storing the Gift Card number in a Notes app so you can easily copy and paste it every time.
If you have multiple Gift Cards, they may be consolidated into one (with a maximum of $1000) at
disneygiftcard.com. It makes it much easier to manage multiple cards but the site is not a mobile wallet, so you'll still need to hang onto those physical cards if you have them.
It's funny you should mention food because the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will be happening over your visit! You can study the
Foodie Guide if you want to know what to expect. This year, there are some absolutely amazing dishes including some returning favorites, so you might want to save some of your food budget for this event!
Jayme, I hope that this was helpful for you. Please let us know if you have any more questions because you're always welcome at planDisney and we'd love to hear from you again.
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
