We are wanting to make a reservation for Goofy’s Kitchen for April 5th or 6th, however there seems to be no reservations available past March 28th. Will the restaurant be closed on these dates? When can we expect reservations to open up?

Hiya, Kaelie! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!

You're right that reservations for Goofy's Kitchen at the beginning of April have not shown up online yet. Advanced dining reservations are typically available 60 days in advance and we've had several guests inquire about dining reservations at Goofy's Kitchen after March. Unfortunately, I don't have mouseketools to help me on this one and I have no additional guidance on why reservations haven't opened. Occasionally, Goofy's Kitchen has special, seasonal dining options and it may be that Goofy and pals are whipping up something special. So, Kaelie, I encourage you to keep checking back in both the Disneyland Mobile App and the reservations page on the Disneyland website for those reservations.

If you aren't able to find reservations at Goofy's Kitchen for your April visit, there are several other character dining experiences at the Disneyland Resort that I hope you'll consider. At Storytellers Cafe at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa there is "Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet." My family went recently and were treated to character interactions with Mickey & Minnie, Chip & Dale, and more friends! My family loves the Mickey-shaped waffles - of course - but the omelet station was also a hit.

Another great character dining option is "Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park" at the Plaza Inn inside Disneyland Park. Is there anything better than breakfast at The Happiest Place on Earth? Please note that a valid theme park admission ticket and park reservation are required for entry to Disneyland Park for this dining location. Both this location and Storytellers Cafe accept advanced dining locations - so be sure to check them out!

Fingers crossed that you can snag a character dining experience, Kaelie! Thanks again for visiting us. Please feel free to stop back by with any more questions!

    See ya real soon,
    Melissa
