Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is an epic ride and has risen to the top of my "must-do" list at Walt Disney World. I'm a bit of a roller coaster wimp, but I love this ride. The smooth twirls, dips and spins -- along with the awesome graphics -- are just my level of thrill. But I know it's not for everyone. Several friends who are sensitive to motion have put the ride on their "one-and-done" list because the movement upsets their systems.
So your partner isn't alone! But you don't have to experience the immersive queue and preshow by yourself. Your partner is welcome to join you in the standby queue and stay with you all the way through the preshow. When you reach the boarding area, just let a cast member know that one of you will not be riding and would like directions to the exit. (Some people use the term "chicken exit". I prefer to think of it as the "know your own limits" exit.)
You can reconnect a few minutes later after you have saved the galaxy.
Please note, Dean, that if you are using a
Lightning Lane, your partner also will need a Lightning Lane to join that line with you. Or you can enter the standby line together.
