Hey there, hi there, Mike! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with such a great planning question.
Mike, in just days, you'll be arriving at Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort, ready to unwind and begin your magical adventure full of pixie dust, Southern charm and delicious dining. How exciting! A relaxing stay at this charming, slow-paced southern island
Disney Vacation Club Resort is at the tippy top of my Disney bucket list. Since I haven't had the pleasure of enjoying a stay or dining experience here yet ("Yet" is the keyword!), I've enlisted the help of my fellow planDisney panelist pals to find you the best answer to this oh-so-important vacation planning question.
First, I think you will be happy to hear that there are two convenient options to grab breakfast or lunch right at
Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort!
Signals Seaside Grill is currently open for lunch on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., serving yummy burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, kids' essentials, Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars, cocktails, and more.
Tide Me Over is an adorable walk-up window where you can pick up a hot breakfast, including the iconic Mickey waffles, daily from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and lunch, which includes delicious blackened Mahi sandwiches, fried green tomatoes and even Mickey pretzels, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. YUM!
If you're looking to explore Hilton Head Island and leave the Resort property, my fellow panelist
Eean recommends the iconic Salty Dog Cafe for waterfront dining, Michael Anthony's Cucina Italiana for delicious Italian food, Fishcamp on Broad Creek for fresh seafood, and ELA's on the Water for award-winning dining experiences near the Resort. If you're looking for some great live music, she also recommends enjoying an evening at The Jazz Corner!
My pals
Anne Marie, Doug and Eean all agree that Truffles Cafe is another great local restaurant, and if you're looking for a more casual spot,
Doug recommends that you head to Fat Baby's Pizza and Subs. If you're staying in a One, Two or Three-Bedroom Villa, Doug also recommends that you take advantage of your full kitchen by cooking up some fresh local seafood right from the local fishermen themselves at the Harris Teeter Neighborhood Food & Pharmacy. Yum, yum, YUM!
Well, I don't know about you, Mike, but now I'm hungry and ready to head to Hilton Head! I hope this was helpful, and I hope you have the
best time on your upcoming vacation. Please stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way.
You've got a friend in planDisney,
Mandy
