About Me

I am a math instructor at a community college.  I love crunching the numbers to squeeze the most magic from our vacation budget.  I volunteer in my community through church, school, and youth sports.  I enjoy travel, reading, and baking scrumptious desserts.  Each year I bake hundreds of Christmas cookies to share with family, friends, and neighbors.  My "nerd hobby" is keeping up with all the latest happenings in the Disney universe.

About My Family

My husband and I met as students at the University of Illinois.  We are the proud parents of two boys and two girls, now teens and adults.  We both come from large, close-knit families with big holiday and milestone celebrations.  We are always up for an adventure!  You might find us at a Chicago Cubs game or NCAA sporting event, hiking or biking in a local forest preserve or state park, discovering a new city on a day trip, trying a new local restaurant, or perhaps an impromptu visit to the beach or zoo.  On Sundays you will find us enjoying breakfast out after church.  When we visit the Walt Disney World Resort, we have two main goals: enjoy as many yummy Disney snacks as possible, and each family member needs to achieve Galactic Hero status on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin!

About My Disney Experience

I have been planning Walt Disney World vacations for my family and others for over 25 years.  While the nature of our vacations has changed as our children have grown, we know that you are never too old to enjoy the Magic of a Disney vacation!  I have experienced just about every season of parenting at Walt Disney World, from infants and toddlers all the way to teens and adults.  We have visited during all times of year and spent holidays at Walt Disney World, including the biggest New Year's Eve of our lives at the turn of the millennium.  I have planned for large extended family vacations and quick weekend getaways.  I have planned trips years in advance, or the night before!  You can plan a vacation as extravagant as you wish, or as budget-friendly as you need -- and have a wonderful trip either way.
