Do they check ID’s for military passes? Or just the military person who bought tickets

Hey there, hi there, Ricki! Welcome to planDisney. You have brought us a great ticket question!

I'm excited to hear that it sounds like you were able to take advantage of the Disney Military Promotional Ticket offer. Our family was thrilled to see this offer return again this year! When your party arrives to scan into the park for your first visit on these tickets, the eligible military member (or spouse) who purchased these tickets must show proof of eligible military ID. As the ticket offer states the military member (or spouse) will need to be using one of these tickets as well. No other member of the party will have to show proof of ID for this ticket offer. If the military member purchased standard theme park tickets from the military base office, military IDs are not required.

You should have been advised about theme park ticket reservations when making the ticket purchase, but I want to mention it just in case. All tickets require reservations for park entry, so if you haven't already be sure to link your tickets to your Disney account and make your theme park reservation.

If you purchased the Disney Military Promotional Tickets, you will have park hopping privileges. I definitely recommend that you check out the Lunar New Year festivities at California Adventure. The special eats are always my favorite part of any Disneyland festival. The Foodie Guide lists all the new and returning treats for this year's festival.

Rikki, thanks so much for stopping by! See you real soon!!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
