Hi Mike, and welcome back to planDisney! I’m also one who usually arrives late to my Disney World trips. I’m always trying to make the most of my vacation days, so I typically fly to Orlando after work and get to my Disney resort hotel around midnight. So let’s chat about what kind of reservation you need for your late-night arrival to
Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort.
Check-in time for Disney Resort hotels is 3:00 p.m. While rooms are sometimes ready before that time, in my experience, that usually means early afternoon or mid-morning if you’re lucky. I always check in through the
My Disney Experience app and set up
Direct-to-Room service. That way, I’ll receive an email or text message as soon as my room is ready. And then I use my
MagicBand or the app’s
Unlock Door feature to open my hotel room door. Skipping a visit to the front desk is really convenient when you’re arriving late at night.
If you plan to get to All-Star Sports around midnight, I’d recommend changing your check-in date to the day before. That way, you can go straight to your room when you arrive, and get a good night’s sleep before your first park day!
As you start getting excited for your vacation, don’t forget to check the Activities Schedule on the
Recreation page of the All-Star Sports website, which is also typically posted in the lobby and by the pool. There are so many fun things happening, like the Touchdown! Campfire, Silent Disco, and the Shine Like a Star Glow Party!
I’m wishing you the best stay ever at All-Star Sports next week! And if you have any other questions, we’d love to have you back at planDisney.
