    What time is check out?

    Hi Brice,

Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you stopped by with your question about schedules at the hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection.

The standard checkout time is 11 a.m. Eastern time. Though that is the time by which you must vacate your room, it doesn't mean you must leave the resort then. You are welcome to continue using the resort's facilities -- the pools, arcade, restaurants, the complimentary transportation, free standard parking and recreational activities on the grounds -- throughout the day of departure.

My husband and I usually linger in the resort room until checkout time, then grab a bus to Disney Springs for lunch and some shopping before we return to our resort for our car to begin the drive home.

However, if you want to spend your final day in one of the theme parks, you may leave your luggage at Bell Services until, sadly, it is time to head for the airport or the highway.

Unless you have questions about your account, there's no need to visit the front desk to check out. You will receive an email with an itemized account of your charges that morning. And you can continue to charge purchases to your resort account throughout departure day. An amended folio will be emailed to you the next morning.

I hope that helps in your planning, Brice. Your Walt Disney World vacation is just a few sleeps away now, but don't hesitate to check back with us if you have other last-minute questions.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
