Hi there, Elizabeth! Welcome to planDisney. I’m beaming with joy that you have an upcoming summer visit. And staying at the Grand Californian? You can’t beat that! It’s the Disney summer dream come true. I’d love to walk you through pricing and booking so you’re relaxing poolside in no time!
After speaking with a Cast Member at the front desk of the Grand Californian, they informed me that
poolside cabanas can accommodate up to eight people, which is perfect for your party size. You can book up to 60 days in advance, just like dining reservations, which means your booking window would begin on May 10. In addition, you can book right up until the day before. I was also told that you have the option to book a full day or a half day. This is perfect for those who want to take a break from the parks and enjoy a full pool day, or spend part of the day in the parks and relax poolside later. Currently, a full-day rental is $575, and a half-day rental is $425. When you’re ready to book, you can call (714)-635-2300 and select option “9.” If you prefer to book once you’re on property, you can also visit the front desk.
The Grand Californian is one of my favorite on-property hotels to stay at. The lobby has such grandeur, but at the same time it feels like home when I walk through those stained glass doors. When you’re planning, be sure to make a dining reservation at my family’s favorite,
Storytellers Cafe. We love the ease of access to the parks, along with the fun characters you can encounter. My son loves to give high fives and attempt to share a Mickey waffle or two with his pal, Goofy! It’s always a must whenever we visit.
