Which character dining experience is best for a one year old’s birthday that also has healthy food for adults?

Congratulations Sukhdeep, you've made it! You kept a human being alive for a year, so cheers to you!

I love, love, love a party, and two of the most epic parties I threw were for the 1st Birthdays of my babes. I can't think of a better place to celebrate a year around the sun than at Walt Disney World, and since a 1st birthday party is really all about the adults, I'll tell you my favorites for a delicious meal!

We love the Character Brunch at Topolino's Terrace at Disney's Riviera Resort. The Quiche Gruyère is delicious, and someone at the table always orders the Steak and Eggs. You get to meet Mickey, Minnie, and Daisy in their artful finery, and I love that Disney Transportation is very easy to use to get to the Resort.

I highly recommend Tusker House Restaurant in Animal Kingdom Park for a celebratory lunch. Donald, Mickey, and friends are all in safari mode, and the food is equally fun! The Green Curry Shrimp is one of my favorite dishes in all the 'World, and the naan-style bread service will have you dipping in again and again.

If you'd prefer a buffet where you can pick what you eat, the most fun one is at Hollywood & Vine. You will eat with Disney Jr. Friends at breakfast (Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, et al.) or The Fab Five at lunch and dinner (Minnie is the host, so she's a guarantee). They also have delicious plant-based options.

Character dining is very popular, Sukhdeep, so as soon as your booking window opens, I’d jump right on the booking. If you have any other questions, you know where to find us. Enjoy the party!
