My family is staying at Pop Century and has a reservation at 1900 Park Fare at 8 am. Will the monorail be running early enough for our reservation, or will we need to arrange other transportation?

    Welcome to planDisney, Holley!

Get ready for a totally groovy stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort! Step back in time and immerse yourself in the iconic fads and trends of the 1950s through the 1990s—nostalgia overload guaranteed!

You've asked a great question, Holley. The Walt Disney World Monorail System typically begins operation 30 minutes before the earliest park opens and continues running until 60 minutes after the latest park closes. Operating times can vary based on the season and park schedules. To ensure accurate planning, check the Walt Disney World calendar for park hours during your vacation. This will help you determine when the Monorail will begin running each day.

You can take the Disney bus to Magic Kingdom Park and then hop on the Monorail. Keep in mind that Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the last stop on the loop, so the journey will take around 20 minutes. For a quicker route, you could walk from Magic Kingdom to 1900 Park Fare, which will take about 10-15 minutes. However, the fastest and easiest option might be to use a rideshare service, like Uber or Lyft, for a direct trip to the resort.

I hope that's helpful, Holley! Thanks for choosing to be our Guest.
