Hiya Susan! Welcome back to planDisney!
Oh boy! Before you know it, you'll be arriving for a
magical Walt Disney World vacation! March is right around the corner, so let's get right to your question and help you get set up for your stay.
You'll be happy to know that Walt Disney World has partnered with a private mobility rental company in Central Florida to provide strollers to Guests staying at Disney Resorts hotels.
ScooterBug is the Disney Featured Provider for not only strollers but ECVs and wheelchairs as well. The biggest perk to using their service is not having to be onsite at your resort when the stroller is dropped off. ScooterBug will coordinate with Cast Members at the resort when they drop it off and pick it up. For all other third-party companies, you must coordinate directly with them and be present at your Disney Resorts hotel for them to drop it off. They will not be permitted to leave the stroller with a Cast Member while you are gone.
Susan, you will also have the option to
rent a stroller directly at the theme parks. These strollers come in two sizes, a single or a double. The rental locations will typically be located at the entrances to the park. These strollers are not allowed to be taken out of the park and must be returned before you leave. They are strictly meant to be used during the park day. I find it to be a great option for Guests who don't want to lug a stroller around and only want to utilize it when exploring the parks throughout the day.
I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming trip, Lisa! The
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be in full bloom when you arrive. I hope you plan to spend some time there, taking in all the beautiful topiaries and flower displays across the park.
Have a magical day!
Greg
